Red Oak II Salem Country Church

Events

The Salem Country Church was moved to Red Oak II from 6 miles north. Renovations started in 1989
and were completed in 1990. The steps and foundation are made from rescued tombstones that had
been replacde by families. The WELCOME stone previously adorned the front entrace of the old YMCA,
located in Carthage and torn down in the 1970's. The church is interdenomintional and Sunday Services
begin at 10:30 a.m. with old time Gospel Music. When you are traveling Route 66 please stop by, sign
the Guest Book and come to Church Sunday morning.
